Germany's best swing chanson band: The quintet around French singer Juliette Brousset combines traditional French chanson with acoustic jazz in their music. Swinging they present their 3rd album "Bio" and take the audience with them into their world.
Musically rooted in traditional French chanson, Moi Et Les Autres cross their sound with jazz, tango, Balkan music and Dixie sounds from New Orleans. The instrumentation is extremely diverse: double bass, guitar, accordion and drums, but also banjo, ukulele and melodica. The self-composed songs tell stories: Sometimes poetic, sometimes ironic, sometimes melancholic, sometimes full of rage. It's about love, children and drinking sailors; about the relationship between father and daughter, the future - and of course in the title song "Bio" about the special creation process around the album.
At their concerts Juliette Brousset (vocals, lyrics, composition), David Heintz (guitar, composition), Eric Dann (accordion, melodica), Simon-Tobias Ostheim (drums) and Andreas Manns (double bass) take the audience singing and swinging into their world. The singer leads through the program with wit and French esprit.
NFollowing their first two successful albums and successes at the chanson competition "Yves Montand" in Lille and at "Moulin de Sel", Moi Et Les Autres released their 3rd CD in 2015.
