Around Walpurgis Night, a Medieval May Market will be held again, with many historical merchants and old craftsmen of almost extinct guilds gathering for the start of spring proper.
Workers of weapons, knives, gold and silversmiths, ceramists, saddlers, potters, spinners, garment cutters, soap boilers, bow makers, glass blowers, spoon carvers, bookbinders, shoemakers and others can be admired practicing ancient crafts. Merchants from near and far offer their wares for sale.
The market is framed by robed people in period clothing and people in armor.
