Complementing the great Faust evening by Robert Wilson and Herbert Grönemeyer, cabaret artists Michael Quast and Philipp Mosetter present "Faust" as a humour book of the first order. Is it allowed to make fun of the great German national epic? Yes, one may - at least if it is done as skilfully as Michael Quast and Philipp Mosetter do. Quast, the master of multiple role design, and Mosetter as the personified footnote perform "Faust I". Drawing on psychoanalysis, quantum theory and the art of folding paper bow ties, the two cabaret artists offer a show in itself and an abysmal look at Goethe's "Faust."
