After the huge success of the 2016 German tour, Midge Ure is coming back on tour in Germany for six dates to thrill the audience.
"I like to go back to the songs which I couldn't really present in the last acoustic line up, so you can look forward to songs which haven't been played for a while as well as the well known classics and also some surprises. I've really enjoyed being on tour with a band and now want to expand that a bit and go back to a four-piece formation with a more electronic-based format."
Midge Ure rose to fame as the lead singer of the new wave band Ultravox and has enjoyed worldwide success ever since.
Not least the hits "Fade to Grey" "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" or the internationally known classic "Do They Know It's Christmas" came from his pen.
But not only musically, also socially the multi-talent is engaged above average.
So he founded together with Bob Geldof the aid project Band Aid and was the driving force behind the benefit concerts Live Aid and Live 8.
