After the highly acclaimed and successful debut "Howl", the Mighty Oaks' second longplayer will be released this spring. Greeting them from the studio now is "Horsehead Bay", a song the band has been playing live for a long time, popular with fans and previously unreleased.
Horsehead Bay is a bay in Gig Harbor - Washington, where Ian grew up. Nearby is also the famous Bear Creek Studio of producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy), with whom the band is currently recording their new album and is close to finishing recording.
After nearly 2 years on tour, each of the guys traveled to their home country in late 2015. There they spent time with their families and had the opportunity to devote themselves to new song ideas. This time was accompanied by a filmmaker. The music video for "Horsehead Bay" features the three band members Ian, Claudio and Craig in their respective homes of Gig Harbor (USA), Pesaro (Italy) and Bridgwater (England).
