WHITE LION, FREAK OF NATURE - two strong bands with which Mike Tramp made history as a singer and charismatic frontman.
Tramp met Vito Bratta in 1983 and formed "White Lion". The band burst onto the hard rock scene like a bomb with their killer debut album Fight to Survive in 1985. The band's blend of harmonies, hard rock and brilliant guitar solos were their trademark.
The hits "Wait" and "When the Children Cry" from their platinum - album Pride made them immortal. Tramp was already responsible for the exceptionally strong songwriting and lyrics. His trademark, to which he has remained true to this day and what he shows again in full bloom on his 10 album "Maybe Tomorrow".
After "White Lion", who broke up in 1992, Tramp made a name for himself with the hard rock band "Freak of Nature". In 1996, the band broke up and Tramp has released 9 more solo albums since that time.
His songwriting very much in the tradition of his singer/songwriter icons Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty culminated in the solo album "Nomad" released in 2012. "Nomad" is perhaps his best and most intimate work, which he promoted with extensive solo acoustic tours. Now in February 2017, Mike Tramp releases his highly anticipated 10th solo album "Maybe Tomorrow", on Mighty Music.
In March 2017, Mike Tramp and his rock band will head out on tour in Europe to bring his new album to fans and rock all the halls with his White Lion, Freak of Nature and solo hits.
