The Shadows Inside - European Tour - Yesterday Desolated and Aversions, today already the next pound (tip: 80% beef, 20% lamb). This time with Miss May I from Ohio, who have already released five albums in the 11 short years of their existence, sometimes reminding of Ion Dissonance or As I Lay Dying, then of Unearth or The Devil Wears Prada, without ever lingering in the merely epigonal. Their sixth, Shadows Inside, comes out just in time for the tour. Breakneck tempo, cool breakdowns and spiky hooks is simply their thing. Death, groove, modern metal, pretty much anything goes here. Where it's about everything, Within The Ruins are not far away. Their latest album "Halfway Human" shows once again that for the quartet from Massachusetts there are no boundaries. Is that still progressive? No matter! Opening the evening is Malta's finest metal band, Loathe! Welcome.
