Molotov from Mexico City have been called the Hispanic Rage Against The Machine before. After nearly two decades on the scene, seven studio albums, and more than 3 million albums sold, that wouldn't even be an unstated comparison. Their 1997 debut album, "Dónde Jugarán Las Niñas," is considered one of the quintessential Latin rock classics of all time. In such a sarcastic and bitter way - and on the basis of flamenco riffs, groove basses and scratches - Molotov have been negotiating the often not so easy relationship between the USA and Mexico and other political topics ever since. Trivia: In 2005 Molotov managed the coup of plugging their song "Molotov Cocktail Party" as the theme tune of the computer game "Total Overdose". Chapeau!
