The big breakthrough was celebrated by Sarah Nücken (vocals) and Steffen Brückner (guitar) aka Mrs. Greenbird as winners of the third season of the casting show "X Factor" in 2012. Their song "Shooting Stars & Fairytails" ran up and down the radio stations, imprinted itself in the collective pop memory and catapulted the debut album twice to No. 1 in the album charts. After two Echo nominations, a gold record and another album (Postcards 2014), the duo went quiet for some time. Meanwhile, it wrote new songs, tweaked its sound and founded its own record label to reflect on what is really important to it: real, authentic, handmade music with depth and soul. More direct, more grown up, more intimate, more personal and with more room for experimentation.
