This is, of course, a reason to celebrate, which is why the Museumsuferfest (Museum Embankment Festival) was launched several years ago and has since become a fixed and indispensable part of Frankfurt's cultural life. Once a year, the Schaumainkai and the adjacent cultural institutions become the venue for a cultural festival that offers an unbelievable variety and richness of events, performances and a unique culinary offering. Thus, the Museumsuferfest has proven to be an absolute crowd puller in recent years. Over 1.5 million visitors come year after year to the festival on the Main.
Such a rush of visitors is also expected for this year's Museumsuferfest, which after a two-year break finally offers an incredibly interesting and beautiful range of events again. There will be a total of 24 museums, 14 stages, about 400 booths, culinary delights from around 40 nations and much more over the three days. Exhibition visits, special tours, hands-on activities, live music, cultural performances, sales booths, gastronomy, the dragon boat race, the festival of comedy at the Weckmarkt or even the traditional closing fireworks are just some of the aspects that make the Museumsuferfest a must in the calendar of events again in 2023.
