Centralstation turns 20, and its DJs have grown with it. In different ways. They've gotten older, gotten better, become parents. And some of their kids are already turning the knobs themselves, moving record arms and are in no way inferior to their daddy with their exquisite taste in music. We invited them to pack their record cases together when it's "My Daddy is a DJ". While Emre played today's old school hip hop at the Cafékesselhaus back then, Yunus proves to have a knack for electro folk or downtempo beats. Elmar is also one of Darmstadt's hip hop experts and his son Shawn does the same and opens up new things for our ears. The Centralstation bar kicks off with two dates of "My Daddy is a DJ", but the list of Darmstadt DJ families is still long and more will follow.
