On the Day of German Unity, Hattenheim will once again host "Natur Pur", the Rheingau wine hiking highlight of the year.

Formerly an insider tip among "hiking gourmets", the event
now attracts thousands of guests to the wine and gourmet trail in the Rheingau region of Hattenheim year after year. A great view, lots of children, friendly people and a huge selection of wonderful wines leave nothing to be desired. On marked paths, you can hike through the Hattenheim meadows in stages and take a break at wine and food stands.

This year, many culinary delicacies will once again be offered along the route and wonderful wines will be served. We have compiled a list of all participating wineries and food stands for you here:

1st Wine Bar Artist @ Schloss Schönborn: Chamamé Locro, Argentinian stew with pumpkin, corn and meat garnish - Red lentil stew with coconut milk - Argentinian choripan, chorizo in a roll with chimichurri Vespers from the winery kitchen. 7 Balthasar Ress: Cooking workshop catering: Venison burger in a brioche bun with cranberry and red cabbage salad, spicy Emmental and cinnamon plum sauce - Winzerweck - Oberhessische Bauernbratwurst in a pretzel stick with grandma's sauerkraut, cucumber relish and coarse mustard.

8 Hans Bausch: WINZZA The vintner's pizza! Tarte flambée topped with regional and seasonal toppings. Children's program: Taunus Wunderland with bouncy castle and wheel of fortune

9 Gerster-Wagner: Steaks from the wood-fired grill with homemade potato salad & tzatziki specialties from the gourmet tent: Potato dream with roasted ham cubes and croutons or with North Sea prawns - Mushroom pan with homemade creamy garlic sauce and baguette - Various treats Coffee and red wine and eggnog cake

Directions:

The local thoroughfare is closed on 3. October, so it is recommended that you arrive by public transport. Parking is available at the sports field, at the Ress winery, the EBS and at the cemetery.
