Over 40 museums and exhibition venues in Frankfurt and Offenbach will be showing what they are made of at an unusual time. From 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., you can go on a very special cultural tour - accompanied by music, readings, performances, theater, workshops, video installations and parties. Special guided tours of the current exhibitions and gastronomy round off the program.
Frankfurt's museums are predestined for night-time cultural enjoyment not only because of their content, but also because of their location: Most of the museums are located close to each other on the Museumsufer. A free shuttle bus connects all the participating institutions with each other, making it easy to reach even the more remote ones.
Tickets for the "Night of Museums" are available from the participating institutions, the information offices, Tourismus+Congress GmbH and the usual advance booking offices. Incidentally, admission is free for holders of the Museumsufer Card.
