With the exhibition 'tiny traces' by Berlin artist Nina Tobien, the AF opens its new spaces in the basement.
`tiny traces` kicks off the exhibition series 'consecration', which invites female artists to occupy the extraordinary space with site-specific works in three solo exhibitions.
Nina Tobien develops her artistic work by combining traditional craft techniques and modern building materials and translates them into a spatial installation. In doing so, she draws on a pool of materials, techniques and impressions that she has accumulated over years of long journeys and numerous researches.
The exhibition series is curated by Corinna Bimboese.
