Let's get started on Friday, September 29 with the tapping of Castel'er Festbier! Braumeister Schulte will make the Bavarian tapping quite rustic with leather apron and wooden hammer - then it's called in Mainz-Kastel "O'zapft is" and the beer can flow!
DIE Stimmungsband "Echt guat" is especially famous for their Mainzer-Oktoberfest-Hymne. In between worldwide gigs like in America, they bring the "party to rocking" here at the Oktoberfest in Mainz-Kastel! The greatest Wiesn music, evergreens and hits, as well as current hits will be played. The fiery Brazilians of the Bahia Dance Group let the hips gyrate to samba rhythms. Great dancers in handmade, elaborate costumes.
For Saturday, 01 October "Die Gaudi Buam + singer" were engaged. The popular 3-man band offers an extensive repertoire of mood hits. In between, the dancers of the Bahia Dance Group will perform.
To celebrate exuberantly, the Castel'er Festbier tastes especially good. Unfiltered and naturally cloudy, the amber-colored, tasty, finely bitter, home-brewed festival beer is also available in cases and kegs to take home.
