With their second program and the eponymous second studio album "Das Leben ist schön", the a cappella quintet Alte Bekannte, successor band of the legendary Wise Guys, will go on tour in Germany starting in summer 2019.
The already large fan base and all first-time concertgoers can expect an extremely entertaining evening, at the end of which the vast majority will probably float out of the concert hall and say: "Life really is beautiful!" - even if Old Acquaintances of course know that their thesis is quite debatable.
The focus of the tour will be the songs from the new CD, which follows the successful debut album "Wir sind da!" (number 23 in the German album charts) in terms of versatility, wit and musical finesse even surpasses. But of course neither the most popular hits of this first CD nor selected "pearls" from the huge canon of the Wise Guys will be missing. In addition, there are cover versions of famous songs with sometimes hilarious new lyrics from the pen of Daniel "Dän" Dickopf, who as the ex-front man of the Wise Guys also leads the way lyrically on Alte Bekannte. His compositions and those of his (partly new) colleagues Clemens Schmuck, Ingo Wolfgarten and Nils Olfert also guarantee a musical range that is second to none. Björn Sterzenbach, the fifth member of the group, also shines on stage as a bassist and, in addition to Dän and Clemens, also convinces as a charming presenter.
The concertgoers experience an evening with old acquaintances, at the end of which you actually believe again that life is beautiful. What more could you ask for?
