Augst sings Neger: The Frankfurt artist on the experimental borderline of music, radio play, literature and entertainment returns to the Mousonturm with the total song evening. Together with Brezel Göring, frontman of Stereo Total, and a complete big band, Augst interprets the hits of the singing master roofer Ernst Neger and other heroes of German light music. Tschingarassabumm after '45: Thanks to television, the Mainz carnival sessions with Ernst Neger became a nationwide media ecstasy, united and drunk Germans all over the country howled at "Heile Heile Gänsje" and clapped their hands together at "Humba Täterä". The resurrection of a nation from the spirit of the Schlager. ERNST NEGER KOMPLEX is an evening about music and affect, about beauty and shame and about the danger of singing in front of strangers.
