Oliver Kraus is a guitarist, composer, bandleader and studio musician in various music styles and formations in the Rhein-Main area. After his 5 year guitar studies at the FMW Frankfurt with Dirk Bell he took lessons with Kraan legend Torsten de Winkel, attended masterclasses with Scott Henderson, Dean Brown, Wayne Krantz and Pat Martino. Also his study stay in Havana and the longtime collaboration with Cuban and Brazilian musicians can be heard out again and again.
Unlike previous CDs, there are many covers of well-known favorite artists such as Carlos Santana, Ennio Morricone, and Michael Jackson that blend seamlessly with the original compositions.
