With the solo exhibition ‚PAINTING OUT of Revenge' by artist Oliver Carlos Tüchsen, ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF) opens together with the ‚Kantine im AF' the ‚Galerie im AF' - a place where exhibitions of contemporary art form a symbiosis with private events and public cultural events.
In murals, Tüchsen sketches explosive utopias of industrial architecture, which are complemented with drawings and paintings on canvas. His works, laid out in perspective, are at first reminiscent of blueprints. Straight lines and geometric modules grow into picture-filling grids, but organic developments rather than rigid structures are conceived. The simultaneity of chaos and order is what makes Tüchsen's works stand out and leaves viewers free to think the spaces further.
The exhibition is curated by Corinna Bimboese, Director of the AF and Heike Sütter, Art Consultant. In collaboration with Anita Beckers, Gallery Director.
