OLYMPIQUE will release "Chron", the follow-up to their debut album "Crystal Palace", in the fall and then go on tour through Germany and Austria.
With their clerical-like big version of indie rock, OLYMPIQUE kicked up a lot of dust in 2015. A completely sold out tour in their home country Austria and a total of over 50 shows in one year in Germany and Austria, among others as support for Bilderbuch or at festivals such as Open Flair, Taubertal or Kosmonaut Festival. OLYMPIQUE's music videos caused a sensation internationally and were nominated for film awards.
The secret of OLYMPIQUE lies in the detail. Each output is meant to create something special and break boundaries. The band's music is organic, stripped down and honest. OLYMPIQUE are contemporary yet timeless, borrowing from the great eras of rock music.
In 2016, the band retired for an extended hiatus to work on the new album "Chron", which will be released in the fall of 2017. The album is an audible progression from the debut "Crystal Palace".
