Inspired by philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer's dictum: "There is no higher principle than to keep oneself open to conversation," the well-known publicist Felizitas von Schönborn has recorded encounters with over one hundred and fifty important contemporaries in her "holistic kaleidoscope of conversation." These included the Dalai Lama, Astrid Lindgren, Peter Ustinov, Yehudi Menuhin and the Grand Old Lady of psychoanalysis Margarete Mitscherlich, whose biography Felizitas von Schönborn has published with Fischerverlag. Among other things, she is also accredited as a correspondent at the UN in Geneva and is frequently invited to speak around the world.
