Konduettina, the three indefatigable divas from Hesse, have been touring the country with their opera mobile since pre-hysterical times to bring their delightfully weird opera parodies to the people. Currently they start with their 'best of uff Tour'. Who wants to know how the high art of opera can be dissected into lowest shoots, is led by Martha Pfahl with demagogically valuable moderations most amusing through the program.
Brunhilde von Krudewitz and Carmen Kühnhals restage arias, duets and massive male choruses: thus the Queen of the Night has to come to terms with Wolfgang Petry, Mozart's Papageno and Papagena revolt against the debt brake and Wagner's Pilgrims' Choir reveals murderous desires instead of fear of God. The characters from works by Verdi, Rossini and Bizet also enjoy freedom beyond their traditional roles and are allowed to do gymnastics or dance the bump. With their fifth programme, the three graces once again achieve the feat of cleverly bringing together red-hot themes and classical opera subjects: Unique and not a bit arty.
