"Felix means the lucky one." For the first few years of his life, everything goes the way his parents envisioned for their son. But on his eleventh birthday, Felix has an accident and falls into a coma. When he awakens after nine months and returns to his family, his school, the small village by the river, everything is different. Felix has lost his memory. He calls himself from now on: Anders.
His new direct manner, in which he points out illnesses to those around him, which he can suddenly see in colors, irritates. In an uncomfortable way, his parents, teacher, neighbor, and former friends feel challenged. Only his tutor Stack, an outsider in the village, likes the new Anders.
