Legendary New Jersey thrashers Overkill released their latest effort "Live In Overhausen" on May 18 via Nuclear Blast. Now, the thrash metal veterans have announced an extensive European tour for March 2019. The band will be showcasing their upcoming, as-yet-unnamed album on this tour. Under the banner KILLFEST Tour 2019, Overkill will join German cult thrashers and labelmates Destruction, legendary US thrashers FLOTSAM & JETSAM, as well as Australian thrash offspring Meshiaak, in touring across Europe.
Overkill frontman Bobby Blitz comments:
"ONE MORE FUCKING TIME! Let the shit fall away and the metal rule the day. Overkill is coming back to Europe next spring for the release of their new album. Get your necks ready for it, it's gonna be dangerous!!"
Smear from Destruction adds: "A tour with some of America's most influential thrash icons is always a pleasure, of course. We've become good friends over the years and I'm glad we're all still around to thrash through Europe together. Also some of the Australian guys from Meshiaak already toured with us down under, back then with their previous band 4 ARM. What an intense family reunion . hahaha!
This is a killer package for the enthusiastic metal fans in Europe - we will present Destruction in fantastic shape and with a great new drummer!
