Pe Werner is a singer, lyricist, composer and cabaret artist. The "Weibsbild" with the "tingling in the belly" presents a musical revue with catchy tunes, hits and evergreens of the Golden 20s, from black trade to the rosy economic miracle, from flower power to the here and now. Pe Werner sings and chats, tells her story and the story of this country, stories from a thousand and one hits. When Pe Werner sings about the "Bel Ami" and encourages us: "Buy yourself a colourful balloon", when she asks questions like "Don't you have a man for me?" or "Why shouldn't a woman have a relationship?", then that is the most beautiful entertainment. Peter Grabinger, the "man at the piano", accompanies and comments on this ironic-witty-melancholic-autobiographical journey through time.
