The music from Philipp Dittberner's debut album "2:33" hasn't even begun to fade from consciousness yet, and the young musician from Berlin is already delivering.
The sound suits the sun-drenched season - but also the night, when it's cooler, more thoughtful perhaps!
In Dittberner's music there's a lot of lust for life, euphoria and courage - but also melancholy.
With his new single "Jede Nacht" one of the musical shooting stars of the last two years now follows up - and lets hope for more big coups. Once again, Dittberner's special gift for combining his subtle observations with the catchy melodies that made "Wolke 4" such a hit.
But the feelings the twenty-something sings about don't only play a role for the young generation that Dittberner, born in 1990, comes from.
In "Every Night" everyone can find a piece of themselves. Thoughtfully, the singer looks back on a time of searching, of arriving, of setting out, finding longing and hope in equal parts. But knowing Dittberner, there is a warm optimism in the chorus at the latest, showing that happiness can lie hidden even in doubt.
