As the saying goes: Man buys things he doesn't need to impress people he doesn't like. And there's something to that. A lot of products annoy me already, I haven't even paid for them yet. The question is, why do we go along with it? The answer is simple: marketing. Marketing clouds people's minds and stimulates their most important senses: The bullshit, the insanity and the madness. And everyone goes along with it. Because no matter whether politicians or managers, whether AfD or ADAC, whether terrorists or one's own life partner, they all constantly want to sell us something: A worldview, a truth, a lifestyle, a diet or another child.
Thereby, pretty nasty tricks are unpacked without us noticing. And the question is, of course, who protects us from it? Quite clearly: Philipp Weber. His new cabaret programme "WEBER N°5: I love him!" is a fiery protective wall against any attempts of manipulation. A cheerful instruction manual for free will. Of course, as always, Weber is funny.
