On Thursday, July 02, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., the PLAYING EVENING of two Korean pianists Joonhyun Yoo and Jin Ho Paik will be held on the city side of the Evangelische Studierendengemeinde (ESG) www.esg-frankfurt.de to be seen in ONLINE-STREAM.
Works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Alexander Scriabin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Sergei Prokofiev and Frédéric Chopin will be heard.
Joonhyun Yo is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Prof. Eike Wernhard's piano class at the Frankfurt University of Music and is currently in his 4th semester. Because of his studies, he stayed in Germany.
Jin Ho Paik is currently in the 6th semester of his bachelor's degree, also in Prof. Eike Wernhard's piano class at Frankfurt University of Music. Due to the Corona crisis, almost all seminars at the Frankfurt Conservatory are conducted in digital format and the practice situation is still very tight. This is very stressful, but for both him and his colleague Joonhyun Yo, music is something that knows no boundaries and connects people even in difficult times. That's why both of them are especially happy about the opportunity to give an online concert in the church on campus.
All musicians who participate in the online project receive a small expense allowance from the ESG. Those who would like to donate more can do so via the donation account of the ESG.
