With Placebo Effect Electronic Dance Art bring a real "dinosaur" to the Rhein/Main area. Active since 1989, they belong to the forerunners of the German Electro scene, alongside bands like X Marks the Pedwalk, YelworC or Project Pitchfork. With Fix8Sed8 there is a "full show" on the same evening by Martin Sane, who evacuated with albums like "Humanophobia", "Dormicum" and "Foren6" to the absolute insider tip in the world of dark electro. At the latest with the 2009 follow-up "Dormicum", the hard core of the classically influenced dark electro scene became aware of the lone fighter from Wiesbaden, who perfectly understands how to transport the spirit of great North American acts à la Skinny Puppy or Mentallo & The Fixer in his own creations.
