Wealthy entrepreneur Philippe is paraplegic after an accident. Just as he is looking for a new caregiver, Driss, a petty criminal with a criminal record, introduces himself because he has to prove to the employment office that he is trying to find a job. Philippe, who generally can't stand pity, appeals to the young man's direct, at times disrespectful manner and hires him.

A little by little, Driss turns Philippe's life upside down and an unusual friendship develops between the two because, aside from their obvious differences, they both have things in common.
So Philippe is dependent on the help of other people because of his paraplegia and Driss also needs support, not only in financial form.

Both are also marginalized by society. Driss, who is dark-skinned, comes from the banlieues and, with his criminal history, has little chance of escaping it. Philippe is excluded from participating in society because of his disability. Both characters learn and develop through this friendship. Thus, Driss brings zest into Philippe's life and brings him out of his depression. For Driss, it means making his way out of the banlieues. He learns to take responsibility and in the end returns to his family to take care of them. The French film was best comedy in France in 2011 and later very successful in Germany. with Theresa Fassbender, Yvonne Rennert, Jeremias Beckford, Horst Krebs, Axel Schwenk
Directed by: Oliver Blank
Assistant Director: Sophie Bölke/Linnert Arndt
