What do Tacoma, Boise, Sacramento, Phoenix, Huntington Beach, Bay Area and Wiesbaden have in common? Well, all of these places are hosting Punk In Drublic. What's it all about? Well, in 1994, NoFX released "Punk In Drublic" (read: Drunk in Public), their fifth album. It was their final breakthrough, Allmusic.com noted: "Prior to this record, they merely showed promise, but with Punk in Drublic they fulfilled their potential." Hardly anyone didn't have it in their record cabinet that year. To this day, NoFX are notorious for plenty of stunts, so be happy to witness their next coup in the flesh at this festival. Punk In Drublic assembles a lineup that will make your ears flap, and rightfully so! Performing alongside NoFX themselves are: Boysetsfire from Delaware, one of the premier emocore/melodycore acts around. Mad Caddies belong to the family anyway, who not only release on the NoFX label Fat Wreck Chords, but on their last album were produced by NoFX mastermind Fat Mike himself. On this album, the usual ska-punk of the highest class is reduced to the essentials. From connoisseurs for connoisseurs, so to speak. Undogmatic fans of sleaze, pig rock, punk, hardcore and discourse post-harcore will be equally pleased with the LA weirdo punk of The Bronx (also known as Mariachi El Bronx to more positive-minded punkers). The evening will be opened by Bad Cop/Bad Cop, the No Doubt of California punk. Last but not least, the whole thing is rounded out by another as-yet-unnamed special guest, who will lend the evening an almost biblical scale.
