Rheingau Wine Week, fondly hailed as the "longest wine counter in the world", will open its doors for the 43rd time from 10 to 19 August 2018. On Wiesbaden's Schlossplatz and the Dern'schen grounds, wines, sparkling wines and culinary delicacies will be offered at almost 115 booths. A varied musical supporting program offered by almost 50 music groups and bands on the three stages in front of the town hall, the market church and the Dern'schen grounds will keep the wine festival visitors entertained. The Wine Week will be ceremonially opened on Friday, August 10, at 5 p.m. in front of the town hall.
