For decades, Richard Galliano has conjured sounds from the accordion that no one thinks possible. He flirts with tango, salsa, chanson, classical music and made a splash with a synthesis of jazz elements and the traditional waltz of the Parisian suburbs. The French artist, composer and virtuoso is regarded as the discoverer of the accordion in jazz, invented the still modern musical style "New Musette" and is thus probably the most famous accordionist in the music world. The multi-talent enjoys international recognition, inspires a worldwide audience and has been playing around 100 concerts a year for years. Together with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, he will bring the lively streets of Paris to Frankfurt.
