Created in 2015 with minors in a shelter for refugees in Athens, Evros Walk Water places the audience instead of the musicians at the instruments in this stage landscape of Europe. The three-minute piece "Water Walk" by John Cage from 1959 is played, again and again. But in between, everyone switches points of view, again and again, to the children's stories and to the music played in their place, guided by them through headphones. Today, almost three years later, some of the young people have moved on themselves, living in Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark. Others have stayed and now ask: how is it with you? The music continues to be played, the instruments change, the stories too. A music theatre piece of the joy of noise, of listening, of sharing and thinking on.
