Our world is full of rules. They ensure the maintenance of a certain order and define our dealings with each other. Some of them are laws, others more unspoken. Like a web, they lie over our lives. But what happens when we behave differently? What if we simply turn norms upside down and step out of line? Then our everyday life could already become complicated. There would be friction, arguments, maybe even chaos. But also warmth and energy. And this is what Felix Berner and six dancers use for this piece about the difficult handling of rules, duties and one's own dreams.
Felix Berner works with great success in dance education and as a choreographer. His works with the tanzmainz club have been invited several times to the Tanztreffen der Jugend of the Berliner Festspiele. This season he is working with the ensemble of tanzmainz for the first time. His creations, which are always oriented towards questions of life, are demanding in terms of dance and are developed in close collaboration with the dancers. They thus reflect the leitmotif of the season - the question of transparency and knowledge - in a special way.
