Before St. Pauli-based alternative rock trio Ripe & Ruin, consisting of Gordon Domnick, Florian Kaninck and Jannis Balzer, released their first single "Clarity" in February 2018, no one was aware of what would happen in the months that followed. By the time their debut EP "The Eye Of The World" was released in April 2018, the band found themselves in several magazines, blogs and most importantly on various Spotify playlists as well as #8 on the Spotify Viral 50 Charts Germany.
Ripe & Ruin's new EP "Breaking Circles", which will be released on January 25, 2019, sees the trio not only as the musical continuation of the previous EP, but also as a signpost to the debut album, which will follow in late 2019. Continuation, because the basic idea of the two EPs, the approach to the music and the attention to detail have not changed; signpost, because the potential of this band becomes even clearer on "Breaking Circles"
