The 6th Rhineland-Palatinate Poetry Slam Championships. Moderated by Ken Yamamoto and Jens Jekewitz
From May 18-19, the best slam poets from RLP will gather for the championship in Mainz to choose a RLP champion. The winner will receive one of the coveted starting places for the German-speaking championships in Hanover. On 19.5. the finalists from all over RLP will compete in the ultimate literary battle in the Frankfurter Hof Mainz. Who will go to Hanover this year as a state champion is solely in the hands of the audience!
Poetry Slam means 100% lived literature! This is where performance and poetry, humorous everyday stories and silent poems, literary rock 'n' roll and highly poetic condensation meet. The rules are simple: 7 minutes time limit for everyone, 8 poets in competition, 5 judges from the audience, 1 microphone for everyone.
