Skepticals
Skepticals are a rock duo from Mainz/Bad Kreuznach. Their music is characterized by assertive riffs and captivating rhythms. What makes them special; unlike most other well-known two-piece bands such as The White Stripes, The Black Keys or The Graveltones, Skepticals don't feature a guitar.
Instead, their sound shreds over everything with drums and a bass. The whole thing is accompanied by occasional electro interludes through synthesizers and two-part vocals. Influences of their heroes in the same line-up like Royal Blood or Death From Above 1979 are quite obvious. But also the music of Queens Of The Stone Age, The Vines, Danko Jones or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club flows in their veins and into the songs.
Killed By Death
Killed By Death are a two-piece band from Mainz, Germany, formed in 2016. Benny beats on his drums, Alex dismantles his self-made guitar-bass. Both sing.
They create a pure, gruff sound between rock, blues and psychedelic - garnished with a pinch of punk. It's times like these when you learn to love rock and roll again.
Bad Punchline
Quite massive for just two guys! Without nailing themselves down to one genre, Bad Punchline expertly celebrate a mix tour of electronic sounds and fat guitar. Almost emphatically, the musical diversity is driven to excess and a remarkable sound is conjured out of the dome that polishes the listener's auditory canals to a high gloss. So anyone who appreciates aparent listening pleasure should not miss these guys. Period.
