To put the music of probably the craziest Belgian band into any kind of pigeonholes is a pointless undertaking. Too unique and unorthodox is their mix of metal, doom, electro, hardcore and some more. The band from Ghent pushes boundaries without compromise - is loud, dark, progressive, experimental and creates soundscapes beyond what you've heard before. They cleaned up at Maifeld Derby 2019 and Freak Valley Festival 2019 with their enormous live presence and were considered by many to be the biggest surprise.
Unfortunately, the four band members have amicably, collectively and amicably decided to close the chapter on Raketkanon and go their separate ways musically. They still play a few club shows and a couple of festival gigs are planned as well. So the concert at Nachleben is one of the last chances to see the band live.
