Romie. These are two voices that were always destined to sound together, but only met in 2013 on the first day of school music studies in Frankfurt am Main.
Jule Heidmann and Paula Stenger founded their singer/songwriter duo just half a year later, with which they have since played quite a few stages in Germany and also performed several times in Ireland.
They didn't venture into the studio until early 2016, when they found their sound; somewhere between harmony vocals of the Staves or Simon & Garfunkel, the playfulness of the Civil Wars and the drama of a Damien Rice.
And although they already have enough material for two albums, for now they wanted to release a small collection of songs around the title track "Favourite Attic".
They were supported in the production by Fabian Sennholz, with whom they have been working since 2014.

The two singer-songwriters have assembled a hand-picked band for the release concert of their debut as recording artists, with whom they will perform the tracks from the EP, as well as many other original songs and covers, Romie style.
It's going to be a special evening, they promise, because there's a lot to discover in an attic like this...
