Royal Blood from Brighton are a garage/stoner/bluesrock duo who once again show that music is more than the sum of its parts. Not in life would you guess that this wall of sound is actually created by just two people - a furious bastard of tormented vocals, vicious drumming and a bass that can handle intricate detail as well as thunderous rhythms. Royal Blood are the result of a lineage that stretches from modern-day heroes like Queens Of The Stone Age to the seminal Led Zeppelin and even further back to the early blues pioneers - the essence of unbridled blues and rock'n'roll and galloping hooks. After two years without a single club show in this country, the Brits will finally play two concerts in Germany again in July. One of them with us. The evening will be opened by Demob Happy, who also come from Brighton.
