Rudi Seitz (1930 - 2002), first dramaturge at the Städtische Bühnen, later a close colleague of Hilmar Hoffmann in the Department of Culture, is one of Frankfurt's unknown collectors. His friendship with numerous stage and costume designers and his work as organizer of the German contribution to the Prague Quadriennale repeatedly earned him design drawings for stage and costumes, especially for Frankfurt productions. The Historisches Museum Frankfurt pays tribute to Rudi Seitz with a representative selection from the collection of works from the 1940s to the 1980s acquired in 2011.
