On Saturday, June 15, 2019 will be held under the name RUNBBQ, a street festival in favor of the Ambulant Children and Youth Hospice Service, Frankfurt (AKHD). From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., a lot will be offered in Melibocusstraße - for "old and young", for "small and large", simply a festival for everyone!
In2015, the idea for this festival for a good cause was born, initially still responsible for two, the first years were celebrated in Alt-Sachsenhausen. Since 2018, Kim Kalisch-Heyse now organizes this festival alone, but has quickly found many supporters who - mostly voluntarily - contribute their part to the festival.
Naturally, the physical well-being is provided, not least by the local BlackBoxBurger. But also at many other booths delicious food and drinks will be offered. The "Helferfreunde Frankfurt", for example, will again offer waffles in many variations and coffee.
For the necessary entertainment is provided by LIVE music and DJs. For the "dear little ones" a "KidsFunCourt" with bouncy castle, kids darts and much more is waiting. The gentlemen can have their beard groomed at the BarberShop and if you have a tense neck, you can get an appropriate massage from expert physiotherapists for a donation.
And visitors can look forward to additional surprises, such as the annual auction, where there are once again many attractive items to bid on: trips, vouchers, tickets, non-cash prizes and unique items!
Kalisch-Heyse is also pleased to have won Benjamin Braun, an exile from Frankfurt, who will arrive as a brand ambassador of Bacardi with 100 coconuts and offer one or the other exotic drink!
All involved are looking forward to the party full of excitement and hope to be able to add as high an amount as possible this year to the previous total donations of after all € 20,800: ALL for the benefit of AKHD!
