Emo Punk Concert at KESSELHAUS and BOX
Samiam are one of the pioneers of emo-core (with that special flair for 60ies pop), alongside Jawbreaker, with almost 30 years of band existence. Now this year, they're coming back on tour. Formed in 1988 as a duo in Berkeley, the band has grown over time to a quintet and has given not only us countless unforgettable live performances. Their last studio album "Trips" is now about seven years old - but that certainly doesn't detract from it. God knows, maybe it will continue in this respect. Opening the evening solo and acoustically is Jonah Matranga, who you may know not least from his bands Far, New End Original and Onelinedrawing.
