Spending lukewarm summer evenings with nice people, that's what numerous events currently make possible. A particularly nice event is the summer party, to which the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt invites on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 6 pm. The exhibitions "Ugo Rondinone. LIFE TIME" and "Aernout Mik. Double Bind / Threshold Barriers" will be open that evening until 10 pm. There will also be live music by DJ Sofie Royer and rapper Kay Shanghai.
Sofie Royer studies painting at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, plays violin in the Vienna Academic Philharmonic Orchestra, works as a DJ and hosts her own radio shows on the London stations NTS as well as FM4. Her self-produced solo debut Cult Survivor was released on the Stones Throw Records label in June 2020. Also appearing as a live act is Kay Shanghai, rapper and founder of the legendary Essen club Hotel Shanghai.
