A colorful bouquet of melodies from various musical genres is offered by the SCHOTT Werks-Orchester at its traditional autumn concert for the city of Mainz.
From marches to musicals, from traditional to modern, there is something for everyone.
This year's guest is the Saxophone Quartet: "Saxophobie".
Today the Schott Werks Orchestra consists of about 45 musicians who entertain their audience with fun music and a modern and versatile repertoire. A young team of three, Karlheinz Lang (conductor), Christiane Brandt and Oliver Hart, preside over the Werks-Orchester. Apart from the already traditional performances on Mainz Cathedral Square, in the Electoral Palace and at festivities in and for the company, the Schott Works Orchestra is a guarantor of good musical entertainment especially at small and large festivities in and around Mainz.
