Science Slam for Female Researchers - Science that rocks! Young female scientists from the Rhine-Main Universities (RMU) will inspire the audience of the Frankfurt Batschkapp with their own research on December 14. The Science Slam for Female Researchers will be opened by Prof. Dr. Nina Janich from the TU Darmstadt. Out of competition, the Germanist will slam about "Is there always a clever head behind it?" After that, it's clear the stage for the young female scientists of the Rhine-Main universities! Each slammer will have ten minutes to present her research topic to the audience in an entertaining, creative and comprehensible way, thus winning the audience's favour. The slammers Michaela Feldmann (Protestant Theology/Goethe University Frankfurt)
Slam :: "Women who can read and write are dangerous" Sandy Flath (Computer Science/TU Darmstadt)
Slam :: "Blockchain - making better choices than at Tulip mania times" Geethanjali Pickert (Translational Immunology/JGU Mainz)
Slam :: "The gut - root of health" Gabriela Werb (Economics/Goethe University Frankfurt)
Slam :: "Death by invisibility" Who rocked the Science Slam for Female Researchers in the end will be decided by none other than the audience. So join us and be part of the Science Slam jury! The Science Slam for Female Researchers takes place in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Offices of the Goethe University Frankfurt, the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the Technical University Darmstadt - within the framework of the strategic alliance of the Rhine-Main Universities
