What do construction workers and advertising agents, architects and IT-men, politicians and prostitutes, company bosses and security sheriffs have in common? Exactly. They are part of Severin Groebner's new cabaret programme.
In his new solo, the winner of the 2013 Austrian Cabaret Prize throws himself headlong into society and asks himself: what is this? Who was that? And what does he actually think of? In general: Who are actually "those up there"? And if there is "up there", where does "down there" actually end?
And so Groebner embarks on a ludicrous journey, from misery to elite, from prolo to polo. Up and down the social ladder, like a frog with glasses. An evening about lies and deceit, future and past, rock'n'roll and card games and park benches and friendship.
A cabaret tale about a guy who moved out because he wanted to know.
