On 6. May 203 at 19:30 offers in the Saalbau BiKuZ Höchst the Vielharmonie Sachsenhausen under the title ,,Glanzlichter der Oper" for the first time an opera gala together with the ,,Kleinen Opern-Ensemble Hessen".
Dargeboten are choruses, arias and duets from Smetana's opera "The Bartered Bride", from "Samson et Dalila" and Bizet's ,,Carmen". There will also be musical specialties such as the aria ,,Nessun dorma" from the Italian opera,,Turandot" by Puccini, the choruses "Va pensiero" and "Brindisi". ln the finale we present entertaining scenes from the operetta "Die Fledermaus".
The piano cabaret artist and presenter Niels Kaiser, who is known for his program "Kaisers Klänge" on HR, will lead through the evening.
Other soloists are Kalliopi Patrona, (soprano), Simone Garnier, (mezzo-soprano), Martin Kellenbenz, (tenor) and Alexander Winn, (baritone).
Pianist for the evening is Seung-Jo Cha.
