With its very special lighting concept, the shooting star market has not only secured a special place in the hearts of all Wiesbaden residents. This Christmas market also enjoys great popularity among guests from the surrounding area and tourists. After a year's break, visitors can finally look forward to the 20th Shooting Star Market again this year. Christmas accessories and gift items will be offered at around 90 stalls. In addition, there are 16 snack stands and the historic horse carousel in front of the town hall. Simply beautiful!
Another special feature of the Christmas Wiesbaden 2022: Again, three different places in the Wiesbaden inner city will be played. In addition to the Schlossplatz with the traditional shooting star market, there is also the Mauritiusplatz with the Winterstubb and for the first time - from 22.11. - 08.01.2023 - the children's shooting star market on the Luisenplatz. All three places are connected by another highlight, the THermine-Treililienbahn 'Lili'. It runs as a shuttle free of charge every Friday to Sunday as well as on the opening day and on the last day of the shooting star market, 23. December, between the three Christmas places
The children's shooting star market on Luisenplatz offers a special family program Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.as well as on Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.: In addition to two rides, a children's carousel and a children's train, the little ones can also expect a children's plastic skating rink and a bakery, where the young guests can get active and creative themselves. The concept is rounded off by a light show to set the mood in the square. This was already installed on Luisenplatz in 2020 and delighted numerous visitors. In combination with the illumination of the Bonifatiuskirche offers the spectators an extraordinary atmosphere on the square.
